Lens Service

Canon's First Cinema Lens Service Provider Since 2013

We provide comprehensive support for Canon's EF and PL-mount Cinema Lenses, including warranty repair, non-warranty repair, and preventative maintenance. We support the following lens families:

Canon Cine Servo 17-200mm and 50-1000mm repairs are currently handled out of our LA facility.

Services performed include:

• Detailed function checks on all Canon Cinema prime and zoom lenses
• Diagnosis of issues
• Lens disassembly, maintenance, adjustment, and cleaning

In order to achieve authorization to participate in Canon's partner program our New York and Los Angeles facilities met stringent requirements set by Canon with regard to service environments, installed tooling, and the technical expertise of our staff. Our techs receive ongoing training by Canon Technical Engineers, and all our tooling and equipment is regularly calibrated to maintain the highest service standards.

In addition to our in-house service on cinema lenses, we facilitate repairs on Canon's still lenses.

CAMERA SERVICE

CANON AUTHORIZED DROP-OFF SERVICE

In addition to the in-house services described above, which are provided on both coasts, our Brooklyn, NY location has been designated as a convenient drop-off location for Canon EOS DSLR cameras, EF/RF lenses, and professional camcorders.

The drop-off process is as follows:

• Our service team will pack and ship your product to a Canon Factory Service Center
• Once received by the Canon Factory Service Center, the repair process begins
• At the time of drop-off, you will have the option to have your equipment shipped back to you or returned to AbelCine's Brooklyn location for pickup
